This is the second image of a series, consisting of 7 images, called 'Kite-Surfing' . Kite-surfing is a rather dangerous sport. In the province of Zeeland, a kite surfer lost his life and one was serious injured last week.
On this image you can see a kite-surfer in action close to the beach.
Images are taken on Sunday, May 10th 2009, at a beach on the northern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

This is a beautiful action shot, Cornelius - "super cool" as my granddaughter would say. From the wake one can see with what force the surf board with its "load" is being towed.

i think this series is wonderful. water shots are always my favorite and the action of the kite surfer just adds to it.

Fantastic scene and shot of the kite surfer. Looks like fun, but I think I will leave all that fun for the younger generation. LOL.

Is anybody out there?
I love the way this is cropped with the surfer drawing our eyes to the lower left and the sail drawing them back to the upper right. It's an amazing shot, Cornelius and I can understand how it is dangerous. It must be expensive to lose those sails too. Fascinating image, Cornelius. I have to go see the first one. I am way behind in commenting. :0)
