This is the fifth image of a series, consisting of 7 images, called 'Kite-Surfing'.
On this image you can see that the kite-surfer got air-borne. As his right foot is no longer in a foot-strap, he tries to correct the position of his board with his right hand. Suppose one must be an experienced surfer to have the things under control this way.
Images are taken on Sunday, May 10th 2009, at a beach on the northern part of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

This is like in a circus, Cornelius. Amazing how he does that and still lands safely on the water - or it could be land too. Nice image of this daredevil!

You are right...I bet you do have to have a lot of experience, and probably, quick thinking is a prerequisite for the sport. Very nice image again, and thank for sharing this series.

I guess he knows what it is like to soar with Eagles. That feeling in itself would be worth the risk. I am not sure they make a kite big enough to lift me off the ground. Great action shot C. The entire series has been action packed.
