This image is taken from the yacht harbour in Veere, Zeeland, The Netherlands ands shows the 'Campveerse Toren', built between 1358 and 1390 as part of Veere's fortification. The tower had in that time also a Town Tavern and a lighthouse function. Nowadays it is a hotel and restaurant where famous guests like the late Prince Rainier and Princess Gracia of Monaco have spent some time.

Hope you'll enjoy this image. Thank you in advance for your comment.

Beautiful image, Cornelius, with great clarity and details. Would have never guessed that this is a hotel now. I have been once with my wife in that "tower restaurant" in Flushing and found it very nice.

Interesting and lovely composition, Mr C. Nicely balanced.
Thought it must be my eyes when no one else mentioned it but after checking some components it does have a bit of a left tilt. Some probably has to do with convergence but the pilings under the walkway have the same tilt as the water/horizon line.. Not something you'd notice in the viewfinder.
