In the narrative of one of my previous posts, I've told you that almost every (traditional) windmill in Holland has gotten a name. This one is called 'Landzigt' (Country sight) and was built on top of an inland dike at the peninsula North Beveland, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

Hope you'll enjoy this post. Thank you in advance for your comment.

From the leaning trees and grass one can clearly see which way the wind has been blowing. Another lovely windmill shot Cornelius, well composed too.

I would call it..Prachtig..(I hope I got that right.) I hope those windmills never disappear from the Dutch Landscape. Wonderful post, Cornelius.

Cornelius - A beautiful photo of what the world thinks of as the Netherlands landscape. The grass, trees, and fair weather clouds add great interest for the photo. Ironic that I posted a photo of an 'American' windmill today. Thad

Any country that names their windmills is topnotch in my book C. You have taken a great shot and with the path have invited us to take a look. Nice touch. Now if I can get everyone to name their barns. I will be happy for schurr.
