This 3rd image in this series shows the statue of Hugo Grotius on the Delft Market Square. 'Hugo' is looking in the direction of the Delft City Hall. It's my intention to provide you later with some detailed images of this City Hall.

Hope you like this image. Thank you in advance for your comment.

I can't help but think there is some significance on the distance between the statue and City Hall. It almost looks as if he is still ensuring that justice prevails.
Beauty definitely prevails in this shot Sea.
Good health to you and yours.

Cornelius - A marvelous photo of the market square and city hall. In addition to the ornate city hall, there are numerous interesting buildings lining the square. Hugo Grotius contributed so much to world affairs, it is fitting that his statue in included. Your trademark clarity and color are exceptional. Thad

Beautiful brickwork in the square that seems to go on forever. What an amazing work of art... It looks like a great place to walk. The red roofs and the awnings are a welcome addition of color as is the beautiful bronze of the statue. The architecture of the building is interesting. Good photo. Fran

Good perspective Cornelius with Hugo larger than life overlooking the square and ensuring there is law and order ! I believe he would be pleased at what he sees.

City Hall is a magificent building

Lots of additional interest provided by the people and the flying bird. A perfect moment in time - "Ruit hora" . . . but stopped in this fine image :)

Groet, Mich
