Almost every traditional Dutch windmill has a name. The name of this one is Aeolus. The Aeolus is one of the two windmills in the village of Wemeldinge, Zeeland, The Netherlands, and was built in 1869. The mill is named after the Greek god of wind, Aeolus.

A very nice capture of this windmill. I'm a fan of them Mr. C. and there is a place about an hour's drive from here, that is supposed to have different kinds of them on display, I hope to make it there this year. The colors, and composition are perfect in your lovely image. =^..^=sandi♥
