Looks like he is keeping a watchful eye out for his mate. I thought the detail in the feet and the rope the feet are on is extraordinary. And, you are right about that balancing act.

A great capture of the gull, Sea. A tighter crop would have been nice but it would have thrown off the 1680 x 1050 ratio. Sometimes I get too hung up on that. Just a thought. Have a great Sunday.
