The islands and peninsulas of the province of Zeeland, the Netherlands are surrounded by sea or artificial lakes (former sea). One of them is the Lake of Veere, a 22 kilometres long artificial lagoon, situtated between the peninsula's of North- and South-Beveland and Walcheren. I remember the lake of Veere from before, Cornelius. It is quite a lovely man made undertaking and seems to be used and appreciated.

I can see why tourists flock to your area Sea. I like the angle of the walkway/dock and the placement of the sailboats. All in all a great shot.
