To a lot of you this traditional windmill is well known as well. It's 'The Cow' in Veere, Zeeland, the Netherlands, captured by me recently when it was surrounded by Fall tones.

Hope you'll like this image. Thanks in advance for your comment.

I love cows, but this is something special. Wonderful windmill, great surrounding and amazing shot, Cornelius. I don't like autumn very much, but the sky gives me hope. LOL

I forgot that the windmill was called 'the cow' as I was fully expecting to see a four legged creature with a broad face and small ears, but I like this cow too. I like the view from the place you chose to shoot and wonder why windmills are always such romantic type structures. Pretty scene.

A Cow that can fan itself to keep the flies away is a lucky cow,
Sea. Only really long tailed cows are as lucky as this.
The positioning of the Cow is perfect. The natural framing makes this beautiful. I could look at it "until the cows come home."
Good health to you and yours.

Its the colours that really grab my attention in this one. Although the composition is sublime i love the warming browns that contrast against the blue sky and the green grass as mediator in the middle. I am intrigued why they call it a cow though. In this country cows are black and white and give milk! :)
