tis Good!!...the play of the shadows across the track cathes the eye right off!...the lead of the fencing and track makes me wonder what is around the bend!

I love the beautiful clarity and naturalness to this shot along with the light and dark contrast. And that magical view on the left of that far off glade that seems so close because of the DOF. Great capture!

Wonderful work, Cornelius. I feel as if I'm there. Beautiful with orange colored leaves on the ground and yellow leaves in the trees. Great composition.

What's not to enjoy here? By your composition alone you have given this beautiful scene a panoramic look. I think the shadow and highlight are the yin and yang of photography and the interplay of them in your shot is so good.

There is a patch of green to the left of the big tree that would be a good place to watch for a deer to appear Sea. I am in the middle of deer hunting so please forgive me. :)
The light and shadows are well done as I would expect.
Good health to you and yours.

Hi, Cornelius...

I'm not sure that the border adds anything to the shot. But it also doesn't detract; so we're even so far. Beautiful colors, composition, and great use of light and dark to draw us into the shot. The trail turning the bend adds a good deal of depth to the shot as well.

It's funny how we feel for some reason that we can say things to one person and not another. If some of my other Caedes friends posted this shot my entire paragraph would be gushing with praise. I hold you to a higher standard - maybe because your shots rarely have flaws that I can see. And maybe because you can take it without whimpering like a sissy and can also dish it out like on my posting from yesterday. Keep in mind that I have never posted a shot with such dramatic light and dark that wasn't overexposed and underexposed at the same time. With all of that in mind, I'll say that I see two slight imperfections. The focus in the foreground seems a might soft. Secondly the sky where the tree forks on the left is slightly blown out.

Now that wasn't so bad, was it?

Another wonderful scene Cornelius with many shadows and a lovely lighting. The path gives it a good DOF too.

Gorgeous capture! I love the contrast between the dark tree trunk and the light filtering through the leafs on the right.

This one is stunning, Mr. C. I love the sunshine highlighting the area in back of that big tree, and casting shadows of the smaller trees onto the path. Beautifully done!
