Hello dear friends, I'm back. Due to the medical situation of my dear wife, somewhat later than expected. Although things are slowly going better now, my estimate is that I'll be in the future not capable to spend that much time on Caedes like I did in the past.

Like to use this opportunity as well to say 'Thanks' to all the Caedes friends for their mental support to both my wife and me. It's not a clich when I say that this is highly appreciated.

This spring landscape image was taken recently. Behind the ancient fortification (which has the shape of a dike) you can see the little town of Veere, the Netherlands. I suppose that 'old' Caedes friends will recognize on the left side Veere's traditional windmill 'The Cow', in the middle Veere's Townhall Steeple, and on the right side, somewhat hidden behind the trees, Veere's Our Lady Church.

Hope you'll like this image. Thanks in advance for your comment.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Fijn je weer te zien met je prachtige werk, een compositie die zo van de grote oude meesters zou kunnen komen. De sfeer is genieten, de glans over de foto... Ben heel blij dat je weer post!

Vakwerk!

Goed om te horen dat het thuis weer iets beter gaat, heel goed om te horen.

Fijne avond!

Cornelius - Both the news and the image are excellent. Your trademark composition, color and clarity are fully evident here. You hiatus from photography did not diminish your skills in any way. Thad
