This is one bird that always baffles me. Why do they need such a big beak. In tropical jungle there are enough insects and things. In Walsrode I saw that they even had artificial rain made for them. Nice capture Cornelius.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
An eye patch, Peg leg and a Toucan? Your not setting a very good image for a Pirate Cornelius. You captured the colorful Toucan very well. Excellent work.
I never find it easy to photograph anything when I have to lean back or point the camera up. I'd say it's a pretty darn good image of this fine looking fellow all the same. He sure is showy with all those wonderful colors and large beak.
