Lots of action captured in this scene, SEA.
The water looks choppy. Good shot.

The action speaks for itself sir C! .. Makes you wonder just how close that pilot boat was to that yacht!

Well photographed

That pilot boat took it rather close I must say. Very nice capture which could be used for a lesson on Rule of the road in the nautical school.

It looks like the sailboat is in for a rock n' roll ride over the wake. Nice capture and good timing Cornelius.

Wow - that water looks green and I'm afraid that's the color I would be in choppy waters - prone to motion sickness. Great capture Mr. C.

Near miss I would say ... Ouch, scary image, considering that some people might have landed in water. :)
Seriously, this is great action shot, dear C or SEAS [just take a look and see, if you like your new name :)].

Great action shot Cornelius. But one thing puzzles me - isn't power supposed to give way to sail?

I like to give answer on Steve's question above:

Although the rules are complex and to a certain extent rather difficult to explain, in this situation it's quite easy: the sailboat has to give way to the pilot boat because boats who are used for leisure sailing have always to give way to boats who are used for professional reasons like this pilot vessel. The pilot vessel is sailing on a water way (marked by green and red buoys, but not visible on this image). The sail boat is crossing this waterway. In such cases a crossing boat has to give way as well, but in this case it's, because of the first rule, not relevant.

Cornelius.
