As you can see, nobody was amazed when this female pirate and her walking king size parrot came passing by, so bringing me in doubts whether this would be a good entry for the 'Standing out from the Crowd' contest or not. It may be a 'common scene' (lol), but I'll give it a change.

Hope nevertheless that it may give you a smile on your face. Thanks in advance for your comment.

PS: thought that the 'Birds Gallery' was the most appropriate one, lol again.

Lol! I think it will make a very good contest entry Mr. C. You were at the right place at the right time for this one. It also shows us how disconnected people have become. =^..^=tigs

The female pirate is totally lost on land and so the parrot who has already done an aerial survey, is leading the way! Unusual and funny image Cornelius. Could make a good entry

I would consider it a good entry, Mr. C. It is a common scene over here, but we have to go the the zoo or a theme park to see it! Great looking shot, Mr. C.

What, there was no "Pirates Gallery"? These two certainly stand out from the crowd as no one seems be giving them a look. Colorful and original, Cornelius...good luck in the contest.

A great one also for Manic Monday Mr. C. - very funny too. I think it works for the contest as well as I generally don't see that on a crowded street! LOL

Perhaps the locals don't think she and the bird stand out but the rest of us do...not something you usually see...makes a great entry, SEA, in addition to a good post for Manic Monday....best of luck.
