Only one thing would be likely to destroy the complete beauty and ultimate peace of this image. This is the fin I seem to notice in the background. This is shark. Do not argue. I know better. Sharks have invaded all waters on the globe around mid 1970s when I first watched "Jaws". I am going to clone that shark thus killing him without mercy:) Then, and only then I will apply this beauty as my DT. LOL SAM & SAAB I never realised that one SOS agent would conspire with Shark the Powerful, eternal enemy of mankind!:)
A "powerful" image that gives the impression of silence and serenity Cornelius. That glowing sky and the water lit up by the setting sun's rays make this an excellent sunset shot.
This is certainly a stunning sunset Cornelius. Being a man who has spent a good part of his life out on the seas, I am sure that you have seen plenty of sun-ups and sun-downs. The sea, and all it has to offer, still runs through your veins as evidenced through your skills with a camera. Fantastico!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB
