I have noticed since my youth has dissipated, I have no need for "cold showers," SEA. I do have a need to admire beautiful photos and this one fits the bill. I see the name translates to notching. Action is good and brisk.
Near the Dutch and Belgian coast (so in the North Sea) there are a number of sandbanks. The large ones have gotten a name. Off the Belgian coast there is a sandbank with the name 'Ravelingen'. The captured pilot tender has gotten its name.

With the wintry temperatures here today I don't think I want a cold shower but do love this image, the colorful boat and the extreme water action...great shot, SEA.
Wow this is one great action photography and your shutter setting was spot on for this photo and the colours you have are outstanding Cornelius along with nice composition too.Plus this is one shot you have to enlarge to feel the power in this boat and the feeling of movement too.I love the solid look to the waves too.
Terrific capture of this speeder of the water
