As you might know, almost every traditional windmill in my country has a name. This, relative small, windmill however - situated near a village on the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands - is an exception to the rule. Think therefore that the inhabitants of the village has given it the family-name of the first miller. So the result is probably the for you rather strange name of 'Mill of Kwekkeboom'.

Image was taken in the summer of 2014.

I have had the pleasure of touring the inside of a few windmills when I visited your country. This one, while "small," is a giant to Don Quixote! Beautiful photography, Cornelius.

What a beautiful scene! The landscaping, the interesting details, the clouds that look like x's in the sky, and the sharp image of the mill...all wonderful!

That Title sounds like a modern day 'Hip-Hop tune'! .. ..

I do love windmills, this is why Ann & I frequently go to Nofolk...Once had an opportunity to 'work' in one for a few hours in St.Fagan's-Wales .. .. .. .. .. You got a great vantage point for this one old mate

Mr. C., your narrative regarding the windmills was very enlightening. I would have never known that the windmills in your country were named! Your accompanying image has it all - beautiful foreground, leading lines, and, the focal point, the mighty windmill. Excellent shot, Mr. C.

Cornelius - A beautiful mill, especially set among the formal gardens. The roadway on the left offers a nice leading line for the eye to follow in taking in this fine scenery. Wonderful photography. Thad
