When the position of the steeple in Hibernating Boats (1) is compared to Hibernating Boats (2), one will see that the latter one is taken somewhat further 'down the road' (lol) in Middelburg, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

From this mooring position, I've taken a night shot that I 'll show you tomorrow. So please, keep in mind the white house (in the center of this image).

Sharp focus on the buildings, a beautiful sky and the two lovely boats make this a very nice and picturesque image Cornelius.

A beautiful scene, complete with pretty clouds in a blue sky. It must be nice to tie-up one's yacht in front the house. I am looking forward to your night-time shot tomorrow! Bravo Cornelius.

Those buildings are so eye catching...a lot of history in those I expect....Imagine some to the stories they could tell us eh!...

Love the angle here, as everything is leading to the left of the image!...

I am going to spring ahead and guess that the white house will be highlighted in the night shot you will show us. I can't wait to see it. I love the architecture you have over there, and the many canals. Beautiful lines in this, and I am glad you included the pilings. Well done, Mr. C. The sky is gorgeous, also.

Are those single family houses SEA, or are they apartments and some businesses?
There is a street in Charleston, South Carolina that is quite similar to this view. It is next to an inlet.
Again you entertain us with a fascinating series.

Lovely water scene Mr. C. I like the sailboats in the first one and will look for the next - the white house stands out from the others.

Great shot. As many have mentioned, it a shame we in the U.S do not do more to preserve and maintain our past. I use items not and then that our 100 years old or more, they work great and do the same or better then what you could get at Bed Bath and beyond.

Referring to Ticks comment above: "Are those single family houses SEA, or are they apartments and some businesses?"

They were built (about 1750) as single family houses. Most of them have still this function, but nowadays some of them are used as a small office as well (for private lawyers, consultants, etc. )

A stunning shot from the other side of the waterway - absolutely beautiful!!! This image has so much to look at - I especially like the steeple or bell tower with clock.
