Believe it or not, but this image was taken yesterday. The temperature on the southern beach of Flushing, Zeeland, The Netherlands, was 24 degrees Celsius or 75.2 degrees Fahrenheit. An excellent oportunity to linger on the beach for those who had an afternoon off (many schools in Holland are closed on the Wednesday afternoon).

A lovely seaside scene, Cornelius. I like the diminishing height of the buildings as the beach goes on to a vanishing point. Bravo.

We had one day in the 70's so far, but it shouldn't be too much longer that they are a regular thing. I love the line of handsome buildings and the beautiful sand and water. Looks like a lot of people had relaxation on their minds yesterday. Excellent shot, Mr. C.

It looks like everyone had "condo fever," after a long winter SEA.
Sand between the toes is good therapy.
Beautiful shot.

Really nice shot, Cornelius.

Well done, both... behind the lens and in the editing chair (if you edited at all.. can't really tell and that's a good good thing).

Thanks for sharing this picture perfect postcard look at Flushing, Zeeland.

Looks like a lovely day at the beach Mr. C.!!! I see the warmer temps brought everyone out. The buildings lining the shoreline are beautiful - I especially like the architecture and the subdued colors. Beautiful image - now I want to go to the Jersey shore!!!! Excellent!!!! p.s. Mr. C., I was curious to know what is on the top floor of the building on the left - a restaurant perhaps.

At least you have a pretty beach to longer on. You don't wanna come where I live and then go 50 miles south to the nearest beach. UGLY!

Referring to Laura's comment above: It's not a restaurant but some penthouses, but not one of mine (LOL).

Lovely composition and delightful balance of colours.
To be honest, I didn't know Holland had beaches. Always thought it was all essentially below sea level and therefore no beaches would be possible.
PS. Reckon it would be awesome in Black & White!
