Excellent shot of this "Old Timer" moving so smoothly Cornelius. The replica has been constructed so well and beautifully.

Not only a beautiful capture, but a beautiful ship. These always make me think of Pirates and movies like "Mutiny on the Bounty' and things like that. I have never been on one, but I would love to, one day. Thanks for the link, too. I enjoyed it.

I had difficulty pronouncing her name. But then again, I was never able to pronounce the seaside city of Scheveningen when I visited on holiday! I initially thought this vessel was a restoration. She is a beautiful replica; wonderfully photographed with her colorful flags, Cornelius.

Presentation done with love ...
The lines of this lady are perfect, superb.
Editing shows your emotional approach to the subject - no mindgames here - you have salt water in your veins and it shows plainly.:)
The only, minor objection are the people aboard. I would have shouted at them something like: "Lie down, sea gulls full of s...t are coming" to make them disappear for a moment...LOL

She's a beauty Cornelius - they did superb work in the reproduction of the sailboat - I would like to be on deck and see the inside of the ship and assist in hoisting the mainsail. Excellent Capture!!!

Ah, according to your link, this ship was a past time of the affluent and the ships had many amenities. I'm trying to make out what the red figurehead is. Beautiful detailed image!

----What is the huge triangular piece of wood on the side?---

Pat aka Momma: it's a leeboard hanging next to the ship, one to starboard and one to port. It's a retractable part of a sailboat without keel, used against the drift (the sideways movement of the boat).
