On this ancient shipyard, situated in the little town of Arnemuiden, Zeeland, The Netherlands, wooden fishing boats were built in the past. Nowadays these wooden fishing boats are only refurbished there by skilled volunteers.

When I was there, I didn't see any activities. Think that the volunteers had their siesta time (doing a nap, lol).

It's my weekly entry for the Wednesday B&W challenge.

Wonderful range of tones in this Mr. C. both mid-tones, light and dark. Love the vertical presentation as it seems to suit the scene.

Cornelius - A wonderful composition. The diagonal and vertical lines work well in the vertical format. Excellent b/w photo!

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

That's a very detailed B&W. Perfect exposure and lighting. And of course it is perfectly focused. Should you EVAH post an image that wasn't focused, it would be such a shock I would simply drop dead....DON'T YOU JIGGLE THAT LENS. I said...(plop)
