Arnemuiden (peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands) is a small town with a rich maritime history. It's has an old authentic shipyard too. In the past wooden fishing boats were built there. Nowadays it only maintains or refurbishes these boats. Once a year a maritime event takes place. Of course I was there and have taken 'some' (please notice the quotes) images. Here's another one of the results.
Think there's a lot more to see than only maritime related activities, like the leeboard used as a table, and a man (left of the leeboard) doing an outdoors nap, lol.

The finished boats look beautiful. There must be lots of "old boat lovers" for them to be in business. Nice and interesting shot Cornelius.

Colorful shot from a good angle. I like the flags, as well. I had to look up leeboard and try to figure out how it works...I've never seen one before or heard of it, probably because it is used on older boats and I'm not nautically inclined! (I thought it was the wing of a plane! lol) Anyway, this is a great image.

My pc is acting up and everything is opening so slowly but I can tell from the thumbnail this is an image full of activity, color, with a great angle and nicely composed.
