This B&W image was taken recently on one of the beaches of the west coast of the peninsula Walcheren, Zeeland, The Netherlands.

One of my Caedes friends once said in a comment that the weather in Holland seems to be nice always. Think with this image I've proven that it's 'sometimes' on the contrary.

It's my weekly entry for the Wednesday B&W challenge (BWC).

PS: Lyn has told me that she had the intention to create a better appreciation of B&W images. A wonderful initiative, but the reality is that the interest of the BWC is waning. That's a pity. Some friends told me that they have a contribution for the BWC, but their B&W images didn't appear however.

If one has difficulties to join the BWC, please send a PM to Lyn, or to Sandi, or to me. I'll explain the process to you by a reply of mine.

I love that moody sky you have captured so well Cornelius and it gives a special light to the whole seascape. Delighted to add it to this weeks list for the BWC.

Thank you for your promotion of the BWC and to anyone wishing to submit an image please let me know by pm with either the name of the image or a link to it. I am sorry if some have missed out. By entering into the contest/BWC gallery does not ensure I am aware of your entry, as this does not automatically add it to the list on the B & W Challenge Page. I need to do that manually. All submissions are welcome :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

I bet that you have at least better weather than us Cornelius. In Hamburg they call it "Schietwetter" in low German. You can guess what that means. Very nice b/w shot of the threatening sky and the darkened sea.

Raj, I don't need a translation, as you know very well that I'm speaking the German language too, my friend! ☺ ☺ .
