I'm quite sure that the captain of the 'Independent Voyager' and his crew can't be at home on Christmas (Eve).

Therefore this German song (Christmas on higher seas) came into my mind.

A well known situation for me in my former career, and for a lot of other people as well. They're in my thoughts and I wish them all a Merry (as far as possible) Christmas.

Looks very nice against that sky and the waves on the water Cornelius.

Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors.

Not at home, but maybe in a harbour.

Nice shot of a stormy river, the boat pops out real good good against the darkness of the sky and the water

Great capture, Cornelius and I like you dedicated it to the people on sea, far from their families. Merry Christmas from me, too.

A wonderful shot with the threatening skies and a real joy to listen to that song. I could still pick up some words here and there from what my German grandparents taught me years ago. Thanks Mr. C.!

Wonderful image of a boat in overcast and threatening weather! I'm sure the crew and others who are aboard ships would appreciate your thoughts of Christmas cheer.
