I've told you in my additional comment on THIS ONE: "I've 'found' and captured more 'strange' sculptures near someone's property. They are candidate for future Manic Mondays."

To fulfill this 'promise' (☺), here's a picture of 'Miss Liberty' in the same garden as depicted in my 'Peel Me A 'Nana' image (see link above).

So my weekly Manic Monday contribution.

I wish I was a Glow Worm, a Glow Worm's never glum, 'cause how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?

You seem to have stumbled upon a gold-mine of statues C....A grand example of someones fine workmanship...And a great post for today!

The owners perhaps are somewhat eccentric. They certainly have an interesting property. The window ornamentation looks quite conventional and at odds with their unusual statuary.
A great find and a fine photo with just the right amount of mania for Monday :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

After viewing your link I think Miss Liberty is just to the left of Peel Me A Nana. Mr. C. this is perfect for the day. You sure have found a great place for the unusual. Of course well captured by you! tigs=^..^=

The statue of Liberty has landed in the Netherlands! This is no ordinary "Gartenzwerg" Cornelius. Nice one for this Monday.

A very excellent capture for MM Mr. C. - they do seem to have eclectic tastes!

Both this shot and the gorilla appear to be done in bronze which would imply that they paid some money for their lawn statues. Down the road from me is a place they call the dinosaur house because they have life sized metal sculptures of a dozen dinosaurs. I have no idea why people do this (hope it's not your lawn).

Nice shot of this unnatural phenomenon.

Dorothy Michaels: No, just Dorothy. Alan's always Alan, Tom's always Tom and John's always John. I have a name too. It's Dorothy, capital D-O-R-O-T-H-Y.

I think most towns have something like this. I know Detroit has the Heidelberg project which is a 4 block area of zany art. We have Hong Kong Willy's etc.
