Another macro of a purple/pink peony taken in my garden. Meanwhile they are gone. A wise decision from 'Mother Nature' probably in order to prevent us from being 'bored'.

My weekly Foofy Friday image.

PS: I got several questions how to achieve the 'out of the frame' effect.

Like to say first that all the credits go to Lyn (LynEve), because she has learned me how this can be done.

My attempt for a simple explanation:

Download the AAA frames / 'Foto Frame' plug-in (free plug-in), and add it to the plug-in folder of a version of the Photoshop editing program;

-Select with this version of the Photoshop editing program the part of the image that has to be outside the frame by e.g. the use of the polygonal lasso tool or magic wand tool;

-Than use the 'select inverse' possibility of this photo editor;

-Open the AAA frames / 'Foto Frame' plug-in;

-Select 'width' and 'matte' to desirable values, and press okay;

-Select 'ctrl j';

-Flatten the image.

If the result isn't the desired one, go back to the plug in and change the values, until the desirable result is achieved.

Thanks for the AAA Frames explanation, Cornelius. I'll give it a try when I get home from San Diego in a few weeks. Lovely foofy shot with fine detail and colors.

A perfect example of the use of the Plug In Cornelius I can never manage such sharpness where the image overflows from the frame.
The plugins also work with Corel Paint Shop Pro (what I mostly use)
A delightful Friday foofy Cornelius which is also a credit to your beautiful garden :)

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Luscious mauve color Mr. C. and the framing is perfect. I don't know if I can do this framing but I can sure try. I do use PS Elements 14 and I also have Corel Paint Shop Pro.
