This futuristic looking naval ship is now 12 years old. It's the Indonesian corvette 'KRI Diponegoro' built in 2007 in Flushing, Zeeland, The Netherlands. KRI stands for 'Kapal perang Republik Indonesia' (Naval Vessel of the Republic of Indonesia).

It has been photographed in Flushing during 'open house', an occasion where citizens can visit and view the ship (even below decks).

I suppose the family in the foreground has already done this and wanted to record that for later.

Good shot of this naval ship all dressed up (flags). Looks quite interesting. The family is looking left in unison and not at you.

That's a very cool looking ship Mr. C. - I assume since it's a Corvette it can go very fast.

I like the diagonal line the ship creates SEA.
Did the family realize they were being photographed by a famous Sea Captain?
Great lines and composition in this shot. Bravo!
