This image was taken near Eijsden, a border village in South Limburg, The Netherlands.
The borderline between Belgium and The Netherlands there consists of the Meuse river. Depicted is a small ferry (equipped/suitable for only pedestrians and bikers) crossing this river from Belgium (the opposite side) to The Netherlands.

lovely scene with the thickly grown shore with the buildings in between and the ferry crossing, all in bright sunlight Cornelius.

Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors.
The passengers seem to be enjoying themselves as they cross the river SEA. It's not as crowded as your South Limburg 7 photo. Granted it is smaller then the one in the South Limburg photo.
The reflections are great and the town scene is the background adds much interest to this wonder composition.

People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
So the background is Belgium and they are heading towards the Netherlands - this is wonderful to be so close to the other country you can just cross a river - excellent and most interesting capture Mr. C.
