This shot was taken at December 7th, 2019 on a photo shoot in Amsterdam, the capital of my small country (The Netherlands) on the occasion of the light festival, edition # 8 there (version 2019/2020 with the central theme 'Disrupt!').

This time no photo of the 'Disrupt!' theme however, but one taken on the way to the festival. Depicted is one of the streets of Amsterdam, illuminated festively both on the occasion of the light festival and because of the approaching X-mas (please notice the day when this capture was taken).

PS: It's the last one of the series.

The city sure does go all out for the decorations, and by the look of the busy street scene, it draws the crowds out for shopping and to enjoy the decorations, this is very nice capture. tigs=^..^=

I can only imagine how long it took the workers to put up all those lights and displays SEA. You have made their time spent worthwhile with your photo series.
Another great street scene and it would work for the current contest.
