In the narrative of THIS ONE, I've said: "If desired, I've a colored version available."

Owd Fella Tick (OFT) responded with: "It looks great in b/w SEA and I would love to see the colored version as well. "

So here it is. Please enjoy!

I think I like this shot better Cornelius. Even the drab colour of the mill and the greyish sea look good as they are in nature.

Mr C, though there are many merits to the B&W version, and it does stand on those merits very well, I definitely like this color offering better. The sea is so much more vividly alive and dramatic. Congrats on such a fine picture!

I too think this might be a tad better, but you know I'm a fan of B&W. I think the power of the capture comes through more so with this version.

Although this is an ecellent shot in colour, I prefer the
dramatic "Standing tall 3 B&W"
(inspite the comment above from casechaser)
I hope you don't mind, Cornelius !

John, I submitted this capture because I said in the narrative of the B&W-version that I also have a color version that I would upload if there was any request for it.
I myself have no preference for either the B&W-version or the color version. To my humble opinion, both versions have their own charm. Comparing these images in fact would mean comparing apples with oranges.
I respect everyone's own preference: variety is the spice of life. Isn't it?

I'm with those who favor the B&W version - to my mind there is so much power there without the distraction of color - that said this version is outstanding too - a great shot is a great shot!

Thanks for posting the color version SEA. Like you said, comparing the two is like comparing apples with oranges. Some like one the best, others like both.
I prefer the color version because when I see a b/w photo of the sea from your part of the world, my mind instantly goes to the WWII era.
The color version seems more right now. Weird explanation I know.
Needless to say, I like both.
