When you look at the 'boiling ' sea, I suppose that this image speaks for itself.

This image was taken on February 23th, 2020, showing the traditional windmill 'Oranjemolen', situated on the seafront of Flushing, Zeeland, The Netherlands, during a storm.

Take care, stay safe and healthy, my friends, because of the Covid-19 (Corona) pandemic!

This looks really rough and your photo shows that in sharp details Cornelius. When I think of all the Atlantic and Pacific crossings I have had I am happy to be on firm ground the past 21 years !

Smooth seas do not make skilful sailors.

The people leaning against the windmill really adds perspective to the scene SEA.
How long after this was taken, were you confined to your home?
It really shows the power of the sea which you know more then most.
Take care and stay safe.

Looks scary to me, but then I'm afraid of that kind of water. Were you in a safe place when you took the shot. Good one.

Owd Fella Tick (OFT) and Carol, I would be happy to answer your questions above.
This photo was taken on February, 23th this year. On this date, I wasn't yet restricted in my freedom of movement due to the Covid 19 (Corona) pandemic. The first measures in order to limit the pandemic were announced in my country on March 9th.
On March 11th, I was strongly advised not to go outside because I was labeled a vulnerable person because of my Lyme disease history and my 75 years of age.
Obviously, I have strictly followed my doctor's order. Failure to do so would pose unacceptable risks and I did not wish to be held liable for getting personally infected. These restrictive measures are still in effect today. There is light at the end of the tunnel. On May 19th, it will be determined whether the restrictions can be slightly decreased.
Carol asks if I took this photo in a safe place. As an 'old salt' I know the dangers of the sea like no other. All safety precautions are taken when taking such photos. I leave the taking of irresponsible risks to daredevils, 😜 !
