Another one of my 'Lake Of Veere' series, taken in the time that the leaves on the trees were still green.
The Lake of Veere (in the Dutch language: Veerse Meer), is an artificial lake, separated from the North Sea. Ideal for 'quiet' sailing because of the lack of often severe conditions on open waters.

Do not trust Atoms....they make up everything.
When I was in Turkey, with our USAF, we would on occasions sign out a daysailer and go out onto the Sea of Marmara. Our little crew of three (sometimes 4) loved the peace one feels while sailing, even on boat of this size. Your wonderful picture clearly shows ships much larger than our daysailers but you triggered a look back, of a long ago memory, of peace and tranquility. Thanks for you post, Mr. C.

This reminded me of my birthplace where there was a large lake that covered past the county. It very rarely got choppy with medium waves...mostly calm and a fisherman's paradise. The color of the water and the look of it really resembled it. The sailboats were a familiar scene there. Thanks for the walk down memory lane. Good capture, Cornelius.
