This macro image from the bin (taken in my garden in August) shows a butterfly on a flowering Buddleja davidii, commonly known as butterfly bush, summer lilac, or orange eye.
I've used my external flash gear for a so called 'fill-in flash', so achieving not only a proper lighting, but a contrasting dark background as well.
