Recently I've seen beautiful photographs of peonies made by Caedes friends.

For years I've different varieties of peonies in my garden. They're blooming again. It's now a familiar sight to me.

In the past I also showed some peony pictures on Caedes. So I doubted it would do it again this year. But the already mentioned beautiful entries of Caedes friends won me over.

So this capture is my Foofy Friday (F²) contribution for this week.

She's a beauty Mr. C. and I can never see too many of them - since they are somewhat old fashioned they bring back wonderful memories from my childhood and my grandmother - I thank you for that.

It certainly is beautiful and it to reminds me of one of my Grandmothers. When she passed I took it out of the ground and planted it at our home. It never bloomed, but came up every year and finally 4 years ago it bloomed. White with a red center. Yours is a wonderful contribution to our Friday Flower Day.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
