One of the greatest artist of all time. Your link to Rubens mentions he was influenced by, "the art of Michelangelo, Raphael and Leonardo da Vinci. He was also influenced by the recent, highly naturalistic paintings by Caravaggio." What a period of time for art. He deserved his statue in the square and his knighthood.

Beautiful shot - I have a friend traveling for 3 weeks to Belgium, The Netherlands and Rome in November and I'm so envious - not so much of Rome but definitely of your country and Belgium.
