Another one in my 'The Hague' series. Depicted is the Noordeinde Palace, one of the Royal palaces in The Netherlands.

PS: All my DSLR images are taken in the RAW mode. So I have to convert them into images in the PNG or JPEG format in order to make them suitable for uploading to Caedes.

At the end of this conversion process, I've noticed that the tiles on the roof of the depicted palace showed a somewhat disturbed pattern, while the original RAW image has a normal appearance.

So I gave the conversion another try, without any success however. So I did an attempt with a rather similar image too, but with the same effect as result. Strange anyhow. I hope that this image is still acceptable to you. If not, it will be deleted. I'm curious, 😁 !

I've seen that happen before with tiled roofs Mr. C. - something with light dispersion I suspect. Beautiful building and a very impressive statue in front.

This is a fine lead into this photo and the detail and color are superb. I too shoot in raw mode now and am still learning. I use digital photo professional , canon Camera software. There is a function called digital lens optimizer. I had to log in the lens that I used for that shot , then it compensates , rearranges the pixels or something to straighten things out. Hope that helps some.

I thought the roof should be like that, and I like it, it's interesting. I think you should leave it as it is, it also has its charm.

Mr. C. This splendid image is still work keeping on the site. Very nice overall imagery, and the roof design does give it at interesting effect.
I wish I could offer some advice but perhaps Tom's comment will help. tigs=^..^=

The roof does not detract in any way for me - in fact I like it, it looks as though it has been raining ! Its a wonderful phot, as we always have from you.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Terrific capture of this palace, I like the angle on the path up to the beautiful building. The roof did not draw my attention.
