Picture from Ennis TX, the self-proclaimed Bluebonnet capital of the world! It was actually taken in April 2008. It was the only patch of flowers we could find. In previous years, there were as many as the eye could see, but this year, because of the cooler weather, not as many came up.

Good shot of these flowers. What I might do differently would be to try to shoot the flowers closer up and where the soil is not visible, but that's just me. Great first posting.

Thank you for your comments and for your welcome. I've always come here to check out the pictures, but never actually participated. I don't know what I was waiting for! I'm definitely not a professional, but like to take pictures as a hobby.
