A pic of Toronto's Harbourfront condos on a cloudy day. I used a very basic watercolour effect and it turned out well. I took this with a FujiFilm FinePix A345 4.1MP digital camera. (Also available in 4x3 ratio)

I like the zig zag effect that is created by the tower height, and replicated in a way by the tree/foliage shapes. Nice.

I do like the watercolor effect on this pic; fun to see it used in something other than a watery scene! In general I'm not keen on areas of black taking up a lot of the real estate on a pic, but in this one the black does serve as a nice counterpoint to the intricacy of the towers. Still, I might have opted for more sky and less foreground.

I agree with sharonva. And I might actually prefer this without the watercolor -- if you did want to keep the foreground in, the image w/out the watercolor would make it more lively, I think -- we would be able to see the people walking down the street clearly and the shot would show more of the life of the city.

Very different but definitely a very nice twist you've put on this. I was thinking that if you cropped it so the buildings and sky only were seen it would look like a heat wave in the city. So many possibilites with this. I like it- I think you've done a fantastic job on this.
