Another image from the 2004 Acoress series. Sadly, the cloudy day (or possibly my improper settings) failed to capture as much brillance as I would have liked but the composition is what I really liked with this. This is on the upper plateau of Pico. This road is leading away from one of the many lagoons on the mountain's plateau. (Taken with a 35mm Minolta Maxxum 4000si. Also available in 4x3)

I agree, I can see what you may have wanted... but thank you all the same, what you do have is a good photo which brings back memories... well done.

I take it by the "memories" comment that you've been there?

Is that a door to a hobbit's home I see in the distant hillside? If not it should be. Nice image -

So many pics and so little time can mean just one thing - it must be - tee time

I personally really like shots such as these with framed roads heading off into the distance. The green pops really well against the more mundane colours of the background - nice effect. I'd have to say one of my favourite parts of the image is the sky - I love stormy, rain-filled clouds that look like they're ready to burst!

I agree, it's a good one. Nice capture, must have taken a good set of eyes. A little unsharp though...but that doesn't really matter. Still a good 'flashless' shot

Clarity needs work, but composition is well executed. It looks medieval in its presentation....a time that has been forgoten
but craves to be reborn.Hence the coming out of the shadows into the wide beyond.Well done...................Jim
