The image is very crisp and clear, and all the feathers look detailed. A suggestion to improve these wildlife shots is (if your camera will allow you) to set your f-stop to its lowest setting. The wide aperture will reduce your depth of field, and the background and foreground will blur out, and all that will be visible will be your subject. Isolating the subject from a busy background is one of those compositional tricks that improves a photo. Nice capture though.
I agree with the regmar on this one. I wonder if the exposure could be played with in photoshop in order to bring the subject out more. thanks for sharing
