I never thought that a flower could look frightening (except for Little Shop of Horrors). This one looks as if it's just waiting for some unsuspecting insect to fly on inside. I thought this was a foxglove, but none like I've ever seen!
I was going to say that I thought the focus was a little soft on this, but perhaps that enhances the view.

I have to agree with phasmid, kinda scary. Beautiful colors usually mean danger in the wild. Very nice shot.
