If the walls could speak what tales of torment might they reveal?...depressing and grim in its' present condition and I sense the same in days gone by but perhaps I am overly influenced knowing the location of this room now...the light, shadows, and peeling paint make for interesting viewing but I can't escape the cold hollow feeling it gives me...great job in capturing the emotions with this series.:Pat.
I really like this image a lot. It seems a bit hazy or something though. I can't put my finger on what it is. But regardless, artistically this is wonderful, you have a emotion grabbing image here. Thanx for sharing!!......................LPF
"Love starts at home: family first then the indivdual then your town. its easy to love people far away, but it is not always easy those right next to us. I do not agree with the big way of doing things. Love needs to start with an individual." -Mother Teresa ( But in my opinion whever there is world crisis it is wise to give.)
To explain the haze....this photo was taken through the window...they haven't been washed in about 40 years now, since the hospital was completely abandoned.
The window haze does add to the mystic appeal of this image. They are truly overwhelming places to behold. There is not enough time in a day to soak all of it in...again, well done!
