Crystal clear, like Anita said. Very striking, and the way you managed to layer the foreground buds and shut away the emphasis of the leaves--- brilliant.

Wonderful photo. I love the color, composition, detail, everything. Consider posting in a larger size, like 1600x1200. 1152x864 is pretty lo-res these days. A lot more people will see it that way.

I think it will take a very long time for me to tire of seeing good pictures of water lillies like this one. However, I did find the background to be a bit grainy.
