I sat on a beat up pier at Liberty State Park and took this picture. I wish I could get all my pictures to expose like this lol. Shot with a Nikon D40x with a circular polarizing filter.

laughter is the best medicine.
I don't know much about photography(I'm a fractal artist),but I can hear the splash of the water against those rocks. To me,that means you captured the scene very well.

Neat shot, I'm glad you explained what the shot was about because in my mind, it's the shot of a peaceful ocean with gulls flying overhead. But hey, I'm romantic like that.

Think it might be a little "light" though.
Just for the heck of it, Try hitting it with "Auto Levels" or "Brightness and Contrast" in Photoshop. Just a thought...
