No masterpiece here. I just wanted you to see why the boat from yesterday's post was seemingly not moored and floating. A Topaz effect was applied and the image was taken from a distance with the Canon G11.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.

I like the Topaz watercolor effect on this one, Cindy. I felt kind of bad about yesterday's comment about the lack of sharpness. But you know me, spare nobody's feelings and give my ignorant opinion as loudly and boldly as possible. Just call me Rush.
I would have preferred no watercolor effect on the hot babe on the right. Or is that a guy? Okay the hot guy on the right.
The reason why the sun sets in the evening is because it wants to see the sunrise in the morning. I rise in the morning because I want to see them both. RvdB

How long was that lens,Cindy? That's considerable foreshortening of the boat and bodies. Do you have supplimentary (screw-in) lenses for the G 11? Also curious about which Topaz filter/plugin you used. I'll bet they are suffering today, if they fell asleep :-).
Some people have Gurus, I have my camera. Through the cam lenses I have learnt to deeply perceive life, not only to see, but to look at all expressions of nature, becoming able to read the poetry of the flowers, receiving the embrace of the trees and flying above the clouds without wings! - Susie Sun
I like the Topaz effect that you have used on this image. That couple look like they are away with the clouds - unaware that they are seen by more people than those just passing by!!! ha ha Well done! Ann
It's better if they sleep at home, the boat is for sailing and enjoying on water. LOL But this is very interesting work, you always experiment with something and you are really good. I like it very much.
LOL - they are blissfully unaware the paparazzi is about ! I really like the effect you have given this and I think it would be popular as a print - dentist's waiting room perhaps. I hope they are wearing sunscreen.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
