Beautiful shot Carl. I particularly like the composition and subject matter. The leading line takes you right into the heart of the image and you also used the rule of thirds to your advantage. Gets a 10 from me.

I like this. The sun in the corner and the lines leading to the distant skiier work really well. I think i would like to see this as a vertical crop as well, with some of the mountians corpped out. Not really sure why, but i think it would be an interesting alternative. Not sure if it would be better or not though.

Brrrr makes me cold just looking at it.

Great picture. I love the way you've captured the sun glistening on the snow.

Another beautiful image. You need to shift your focus to spring now for those of us south of the Mason-Dixon. ha.

Your work is never short of marvelous.

Well I can sure see why you would take this photo...but you DO need to be a bit more careful eh? Want you to be safe and sound my friend!! IT looks like such a peaceful place. THere is nothing quite like snow to give you the "sound" of silence....must have been a gorgeous day. I love it when its sunny and cold and crisp like that.

Every line, sweeping rock, wedge of trees and valley meet on that distant subject and point. Love the snows sparkle and beautiful cold, white light.
