This is just a small portion of the 'Sluice Box Rapids' that churn directly above the drop called Virginia Falls. thats one of my friends down there with the video camera, i know its not super artistic but i included him to give a real sense of the scale

I'm glad you left him in there for the purposes stated, but it looks like he's standing way too close..please tell me he didn't get drenched in the next few minutes after that was taken!!! Amazing amount of energy that water is giving off :)

The feeling of power in the water is breath-taking! I like the angle, too - the glimpse of the churning water above the solid rocks really adds to it.

It doesn't need to be super artistic...including your buddy was the right thing to do, it gives the viewer a feeling of the raw power and scale of the falls. Very nicely done!!

Wow, what a violent force and magnitude of water! Including your friend rightly gives a sense of scale; this is a fine shot.

I caught this in the booth and noticed that guy. Your mates nuts going down there! He does give a sense of the scale of this though. Awsome scene!

I keep thinking about how loud that had to be! Great shot, it just wouldn't be the same without someone there to show us how awesomely BIG that is!

I think leaving your friend in the shot was perfect because without that the viewer would never know the scale you captured. I am really enjoying these shots. I am a Canadian but have never been to this part of the country.

Awesome power compared to the size of your friend. I hope he was careful with his footing. Great job.
