Spectacular scenery, Carl! Your tent gives a sense of scale to the shot and I like the way you composed it. See any grizzlies up there? Thanks for another great desktop! :)

What a way to wake up. Love the contrast with that bright colourful tent. Looks like a trip of a lifetime.

I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings: And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes. We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not. Yet so the universe was wrought . Thought is another name for fate. Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.

A classic image. A true masterpiece. The color and depth is super. Great composition.

Fantastic scene Carl!
The mountains and clouds are stunning, but the extra come from that tent up front. That says: you could be here!
Great: 10!

If you can't find the words, you may as well shoot it...

That's an amazing picture: it's like some orange flying saucer lands on a rocky mountains planet! The clouds add a lot to the pictures! I'd like to shot such pics of yours. You are gifted.

I have to make a point to watch you closer.

Your images were of the first that had caught my eye way, way back when here on Caedes.

Kind of take it for granted that I can always return to your galleries for photos like yours on this page here.

You could not have scripted a better shot for your title and concept. Excellent work.

My only caveat? Minor at best ... your choice of type/font, lol. Don't mind me, just kidding a little ... a little. Think something sans serif would be better suited. Typography ... another art in and of itself.

However ... with the quality of your shot here? Think I can overlook it. ;o)

Thanks for sharing your talents. :o)

Wouldn't you have picked somewhere other than the rocky shore to set up your tent?

no small gravel banks like this are the best for pitching tents. a thermarest easily absorbs the little rocks, they drain when it rains, dont get your stuff dirty, are nice and level, and the wind keeps the bugs off
