There is nice separation of the roses from the background. I feel the flowers are too illuminated and flat. Did you use flash? This usually flattened things. They need more shadow to e effective. A closer crop of the image would also give more emphasis to the flowers. Given the number and quality of rose pictures on this site the Ci is a little surprising, although the competition in thisnarea is high.

They look like painted in watercolor and ink, oriental touch to the photo, very nice.

I like the contrast from the green foliage to the roses. I agree with coram9 though that the look just a tad flat. Excellent color. Good shot.
