A lot of people seem to like the waterfall picture I did. This is a manipulated version of it which I actually like better. I'm mainly putting it up to see if I'm the only one. Tomorrow I'll post the original of "Fishing on the Nooksack" which seems popular also and let people compare with the original posted version.

I wasn't crazy about this in thumbnail, I have to admit, but once I saw it in the larger size, I was very impressed. If I had never known that it had once been a photo, I would have considered buying it for my walls..lol..in fact, I still would :) ..The colors are too intense for a "real" picture, but given the treatment you've used here, it works so well as an artistic treatment, while maintaining a lot of its realism...very nice :)PJ

It's very 'fantasy' like and looks very nice full screen. It will be fun to compare the manip to the real thing. Very nice work and good post. Thanks for sharing this.

I like this -- it has a real "fantasy" feel, as Anita pointed out, but I like the original photo better. It is fun to play around with the possibilities though, isn't it?

Extraordinary, top job. I do wish you could have kept the definition in the rocks but i don't know if that was possible. Best wishes, Dwight.

Nope, I'm a realist. I saved the other one and have it up and running on the desktop quite often. That's the one I like. Still, nice work, Darrell.

Picture Purrrfect . A purrrfect world is what we all want, but, seems too unobtainable. If I've viewed and commented on your post, and you liked my remarks then NO THANKS is needed...just getting to see your wonderful work is thanks enough for me!! Also BIG thanks to all who check out my work!! I appreciate any and all comments & feedback!!

Oh - I really like this! It's so surreal. It's a fantastic version of the original which I kept.
I'm keeping this one too for those times when I need some fantasy in my life! (the photography kind, that is)

I actually do like this one better, its almost fantasy like. The details in this one are amazing and i really like the color detail as well. They are both beautiful though! :)

I like the way the water looks in this more than the original photo, but I would prefer the natural shot of the rocks in your original wallpaper. I can't decide between the two. They are both beautiful. I'm still mesmerized by the cool blue and green colors of the water.

I love this. Definitely feels magical. I keep expecting to see water sprites flitting about or something.

That is so COOL. Sorry for that overused word, but it just jumped into my head, haha. I love the liquidity of the whole thing. I would love to see more like this. I agree with Tauly on one thing: I am torn between the two. They are both unique and beautiful in their own way, and I can't seem to pick one over the other, but I wouldn't change a thing in either of them =)
